GROUND ZERO MEMORIAL St. Paul’s Chapel New York, NY | “Out of Dust: A Year of Ministry at Ground Zero,” at Saint Paul’s Chapel, commemorates the efforts of volunteers and workers who labored so compassionately during the rescue and recovery period following September 11. After being part of 236 years of change in Lower Manhattan, the church witnessed the attack and collapse of the World Trade Center. A block away from Ground Zero, the church opened its doors to provide food and supplies, and a place for massage therapists, podiatrists, chiropractors and counselors to offer their help. Since its opening over 1,000,000 visitors have seen the exhibition. |
